Brief description:
I was out of town for a long weekend from 10/5 – 10/8, when I got home last night I noticed that my push mower, broom and weed wacker were gone out of my porch/back yard. I’m not sure what day/night they were stolen. I have two locked gates, and both were still locked, so they were jumping fences.

We all share in your anger and frustration over this invasion and loss of property. I strongly urge you to follow through and file a police report, as increased police awareness to such crimes will likely lead to increased vigilance and protection of the area.

You can protect your home with outdoor motion detectors that can give a audio warning that the police have been notified. Cameras will also allow you to identify the individuals, this evidence can then be used by the police. These are options that can be low cost but add a greater coverage of security to you.
