The next monthly 11th Precinct Police Luncheon is tomorrow, Thursday, April 25, at 12:30 p.m. in the Scheurer Room of the German Village Meeting Haus. We anticipate a large attendance because of the discussion regarding negative activities in Schiller Park. Also Jeffery McNealey is going to speak on the new statewide law he helped pass regarding the sale of metal to scrap shops. Many residents in the village have lost gutters and metal gates to these thieves. This meeting also provides a forum for your concerns and how we can help our police officers in creating a safe neighborhood.
The German Village Society has a unique relationship with our precinct officers and city safety officials. This relationship is valuable to both residents and officers. Plan to attend and be more informed on how you can be part of the solution.
