Car Stereo Stolen, vehicle broken into

Brief description:

My car was parked on the the street in front of my house. This morning I noticed the front passenger window was smashed and the my car stereo was ripped out of the dashboard. This was the second time that my car was broken into this year.

2005 Nissan Xterra, Black, with roof top carrier and tow hitch.

    Sorry that this happened to you. It sucks. Unfortunately, unless you have a car alarm, it is a reality in our neighborhood.

    I’ve lived in the GV area for a better part of 20 years. My first 5 years…I had the same thing happen to me 3x’s. My lesson learned was that I do NOT lock my car doors. And if you do not have a factory installed car stereo, purchase one with a removal face plate. Don’t leave anything in the car, you don’t want taken. A hard and expensive lesson to learn, I know. I have even gone to the extent of turning off my dome light…because when the car will be explored by the criminal, they have left the door open and when my car battery was low…it drained it completely. Just some helpful hints from a long time resident.

    Yes, sorry that this happened. One correction for the Web Master the location was outside German Village.
