Our cars were rifled through between 2AM – 5AM. We keep our cars unlocked and nothing of value inside. Ashtrays and glove and consoles were all ripped apart for whatever spare couple pennies and dimes could be found. My ashtray was later found on my deck, as I thought this was removed and tossed somewhere.

Car had alarm system but was accidently left unlocked. At approximately 11:pm it was discovered that someone had opened the car’s door and helped themselves to a Garmin GPS unit, in the console, and a WD Passport hard drive, on the passenger seat.

A GPS was taken from the unlocked glove compartment of our car sometime between 4:30 p.m. on October 4 and 11:30 a.m. on October 5. The car had apparently been left unlocked because there was no evidence of a forced entry.

Awoken by the sound of my neighbor’s car alarm. I looked out the window to see a man crawling out of his vehicle. The man then walked west down the north side of Beech checking car door handles while I was on the phone with dispatch. Officers who were dispatched DID arrest the individual.

Someone picked up a rock and threw it up against my SUV, putting a very sizable dent underneath the driver side window. Obviously, they were not trying to break in but meaninglessly wanted to do damage. It was parked in our driveway.
